Rey Cacao will be one of Costa Rica's leading producers of fine cacao with a strong social mission: to supply leading chocolatiers and cacao buyers around the world and improve the quality of life of small farmers through training, support and community engagement, focusing on the environment by promoting sustainable agricultural practices, reforestation and conservation of natural ecosystems. We seek to generate a positive impact on Costa Rica's fertile soils. Our single-origin Trinitario cacao beans are nurtured to their full-bodied flavor potential through a meticulous post-harvest process.
We work directly with local farmers, sourcing our beans fresh and managing the entire post-harvest process at our controlled fermentation facility in Costa Rica's idyllic Caribbean climate, consistently achieving ideal quality standards.
